This tour
offers a general view of the
city starting at Barra Lighthouse,
going along broad avenues, reaching
Dique do Tororó, the
lake of Afro-Brazilian God statues.
Then, by means of a tunnel,
getting to the lower city where
a visit to Bonfim Church, worshipped
by the Bahian people is a must;
and also Monte Serrat Fortress,
from where one can see the Upper
City far away. Upon returning,
you will have a half-an-hour
stop for shopping at the Modelo
Market, Salvador's most known
handicraft center.
